Tinubu Approves Federal Jobs, ₦250,000, and Scholarships for 200 NYSC Honorees
President Bola Tinubu has approved immediate federal civil service employment for 200 outstanding National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members from the 2020–2023 service years. sydney sweeney soap The announcement, made on Tuesday, July 29, also includes a cash reward of ₦250,000 for each honoree, along with a postgraduate scholarship to any Nigerian university. The President, represented by Minister of State for Labour and Employment Nkeiruka Onyejeocha at the combined President’s NYSC Honours Award Ceremony in Abuja, commended the recipients for their “discipline, commitment, selflessness, teamwork, patriotism, and integrity.”
Tinubu also directed that 10 physically challenged ex-corps members who sustained injuries or disabilities while serving be granted automatic employment, assuring them that their sacrifices will not be forgotten. He confirmed that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and the Federal Civil Service Commission will immediately begin the employment process. The award ceremony celebrated both male and female top performers among the honorees.
