Jamie O’Hara, a former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, believes Manchester City forward Erling Haaland will face little resistance in his quest to secure a fourth Premier League Golden Boot. Since joining the English league from Borussia Dortmund four seasons ago, the Norwegian striker has maintained a prolific scoring rate.
Haaland registered 36 goals in his first season, helping Manchester City achieve a historic continental treble. He followed this with 27 goals the next year, securing another league title and a second Golden Boot as City claimed their fourth consecutive championship. While Liverpool disrupted City’s dominance in 2025, halting Haaland’s run of individual awards, the striker remained successful. During Pep Guardiola’s final campaign at the club, Haaland notched 27 goals to win his third Golden Boot, moving closer to the records held by Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah.
As reported by Sky Sports Premier League, O’Hara remarked that no other player currently possesses the quality to challenge the striker. Last season, Brentford’s Thiago finished in second place with 22 goals, trailing Haaland by a margin of five.
