The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State is optimistic about success in the 2027 polls, pointing to internal cohesion and effective organization. During a media briefing in Birnin Kebbi, Kabiru Sani, who serves as the Special Adviser on Political Matters to Governor Nasir Idris, confirmed the party has audited its political standing and refined its structure for upcoming contests.
Sani emphasized that the current harmony within the party ranks will allow them to outperform rival candidates across all government tiers. He credited this positive outlook to the performance of Governor Idris in key sectors such as security, education, health, and agriculture. Furthermore, the official highlighted that the increasing influx of opposition members into the APC serves as a strong indicator of their growing influence.
The adviser concluded that maintaining a collaborative relationship between party leadership, elected officials, and the grassroots is essential for cementing the APC’s status and ensuring success in the next election cycle.
