The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State is ramping up preparations for the 2027 polls. The party recently inaugurated 13-member executive teams for each of the 23 polling units within Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4.
Sir Emeka Amajirionwu, the local government area chairman, oversaw the event, which drew significant support from party members and stakeholders. Amajirionwu praised the local leadership for their dedication, emphasizing that a robust foundation at the grassroots level is vital for political success. He tasked the new officers with increasing voter outreach in their neighborhoods.
During the session, party chieftain John Eke encouraged the new executives to secure at least 10 loyal voters in each unit. Meanwhile, Deputy Woman Leader Lady Leticia Okere highlighted the importance of female involvement, encouraging them to utilize their networks to boost party support. Dr. Chigozie Okereke, the ward’s apex leader, acknowledged the current economic difficulties and urged members to promote the ADC’s vision to their neighbors as an alternative path forward.
