During a recent appearance in London to promote an upcoming festival, Hill described the group’s journey as an incredible healing process that has brought them closer together. Although they did not formally announce a new studio project, both artists expressed optimism when asked about the possibility of future music.
The duo appeared in Piccadilly Circus on Wednesday before their scheduled performance at the Diaspora Calling! event in Milton Keynes. While member Pras Michel remains unavailable due to his ongoing incarceration in the United States, Hill and Jean emphasized the strong bond they currently share. Jean remarked that they are in an excellent place mentally and remain committed to spreading a positive message, noting that their work has always been about movement rather than just musical output.
Reflecting on their iconic 1996 album The Score, the pair discussed the enduring relevance of their lyrics regarding the global refugee experience. They also shared advice for newer artists, cautioning against the obsession with viral internet fame and encouraging musicians to prioritize patience, craftsmanship, and genuine audience connection.
