The City Boy Movement has officially dismissed Ahmed Ajibola, its Oyo State Coordinator, citing disparaging comments directed at President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, and the organization’s executive leadership. The decision was announced by the group’s Director-General, Francis Shoga, on Thursday.
The termination follows a disciplinary process that began earlier this year. In a formal notice issued on June 2, 2026, the organization presented Ajibola with a petition detailing various allegations of misconduct. According to the leadership, Ajibola failed to provide a suitable response after being given 48 hours to defend his actions.
Beyond the insults leveled against the president and the movement’s patron, Seyi Tinubu, the leadership accused Ajibola of gross insubordination. The petition also noted that he had challenged fellow leaders to physical fights and engaged in behavior that damaged the reputation of the organization.
