Super Falcons squad complete in Casablanca with arrival of Abiodun and Monday

Deborah Abiodun and Monday Gift have joined the Super Falcons camp in Casablanca, bringing the full 25-player squad together for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Falcons roster is officially at full strength for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Both Deborah Abiodun and Monday Gift have reached the team’s headquarters at the Marriott hotel in Casablanca, as confirmed by DAILY POST.

Head coach Justine Madugu currently oversees the complete 25-player contingent following the late arrival of the two athletes. Their travel from the United States experienced unexpected setbacks after a flight cancellation prevented them from joining the group earlier on Tuesday.

As a result, both players were sidelined for last Friday’s 2-1 exhibition match against the Twiga Stars of Tanzania. While Abiodun previously competed in the 2024 WAFCON tournament, this event marks a return to the fold for Monday after she missed the final roster selection last time. The entire Super Falcons delegation is scheduled to depart for Rabat this Friday to prepare for their upcoming group stage matches.
