Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni has stated he will continue to demand accountability from Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu. Addressing Bwala in a message on his verified X profile this Thursday, Oseni clarified that his position is not driven by personal animosity.
Oseni emphasized that he still considers Bwala a brother, explaining that the media’s scrutiny is a professional duty rather than a manifestation of hatred. He reminded Bwala that the spokesperson previously praised his journalistic style and frequently used the same platform to criticize the All Progressives Congress, the very party he now represents.
The journalist challenged Bwala to reconcile his past statements with his current position, citing Bwala’s earlier attempts to critique Peter Obi’s financial habits as an example. Oseni concluded by stressing that the media’s objective is to ensure transparency and accountability from public figures, not to launch personal attacks.
