Recent Ukrainian drone attacks have targeted warehouses operated by Wildberries, Russia’s leading online retailer, resulting in 10 injuries according to local authorities. The strikes hit logistics centers in Krasnodar and Stavropol overnight, necessitating an immediate evacuation of the premises.
This incident follows a similar attack just four days prior, which impacted facilities in Tambov and Elektrostal, leaving eight people dead and 62 wounded. Kyiv maintains that these warehouses serve as supply chains for Russian drone manufacturing and navigation components.
Wildberries owner Tatyana Kim expressed frustration via Telegram regarding the impact on her staff, yet insisted that operations would proceed. Serhii Kuzan, head of the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Centre, stated that the strikes aim to cripple Russian logistics and the distribution of dual-use goods to the military. Beyond the immediate disruption to supply lines, officials believe these actions carry significant economic and psychological consequences for Russia.
