Renowned actor Jide Kosoko has voiced support for President Bola Tinubu, urging citizens to exercise patience as the current administration implements its policy changes. In an interview with FeelrightnewsTV, Kosoko emphasized that evaluating a presidency is premature, likening the process to assessing a construction project before it is finished.
Kosoko readily admitted that President Tinubu is human and subject to mistakes, stating that the President is not infallible. He expressed concern that negative public perception, particularly among Generation Z, is being deliberately manufactured by opposition figures and activists. The actor suggested that younger citizens are being manipulated into criticizing the government.
Furthermore, the veteran actor claimed that certain activists are hypocritical, alleging they accept government funds while publicly inciting dissent. While acknowledging that Nigerians are enduring significant financial difficulties, Kosoko argued against direct cash handouts as a remedy. He maintained that the government requires more time to see its economic strategies succeed.
