The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is scheduled to arraign former Minister of Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, at the Federal High Court in Abuja this coming Monday. Authorities previously apprehended Nnaji at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on July 1 to conduct inquiries regarding his credentials. The former minister allegedly falsified academic records, specifically a degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and submitted a fraudulent National Youth Service Corps discharge document during his 2023 ministerial vetting. Nnaji, who previously left President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, will enter his plea before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik.
Separately, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director-General of an organization described as the non-existent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), will be arraigned on Tuesday. Police prosecutor Wisdom Madaki filed an eight-count charge against Adeyemi and two associates on November 27, 2025, involving forgery and impersonation. Key figures expected to provide testimony in this case include Presidential Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, along with various civil servants from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
