Prince William celebrates 44th birthday and Father’s Day with family tributes

Prince William celebrated his 44th birthday and Father’s Day with a new family photo, while the King offered his own tributes and rumors of a Sussex family visit circulate.

To celebrate Prince William’s 44th birthday and Father’s Day, the royal family released a photograph showing the heir to the throne with his daughter, Charlotte. The image, captured at Kensington Palace after the Trooping of the Colour, features the Prince of Wales in his Irish Guards uniform alongside the 11-year-old princess. A heartfelt caption signed by Catherine, Princess of Wales, and their three children accompanied the post, calling him the best Papa in the world.

King Charles and Queen Camilla also sent public well-wishes, sharing a photo from the previous year’s Earthshot Prize ceremony in Brazil. Buckingham Palace marked the occasion by posting a vintage image of a young King Charles standing beside his late father, Prince Philip, while extending thoughts to those separated from their fathers on the holiday. Recently, Prince William and Catherine made a joint appearance at Royal Ascot, marking her first time attending the event since her 2024 cancer diagnosis.

The celebratory atmosphere coincides with reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning a UK visit with their children, Archie and Lilibet. Sources indicate that Harry and Meghan have been offered royal housing, suggesting a possible improvement in relations. While the King has not seen his grandchildren since 2022, it remains unconfirmed if a meeting will occur during this upcoming trip.
