A former teacher’s aide is confronting multiple child sex crime charges, accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a teenage boy that began when he was just 15 years old.

Stephanie Jensen was formally charged on Monday, following a criminal complaint that outlines a disturbing pattern of alleged misconduct. The complaint alleges the illicit relationship with the teenager lasted until he was 17.

According to the filed documents, the victim reported that Jensen had been “flirty” with him since the age of 12. The interactions allegedly escalated when the boy was 16, transitioning to the exchange of explicit photos and videos through Snapchat. Authorities also accuse Jensen of sending nude photographs to the victim’s friends.

The criminal complaint indicates the victim believed Jensen was fully aware of his age, noting she was a teacher’s aide in his school while he was an eighth-grade student.

The most serious allegations involve sexual intercourse, which the victim stated occurred on several occasions. He told investigators the first instance was in September 2024, prior to his 16th birthday.

When detectives interviewed Jensen, she reportedly denied any sexual contact with the teenager. However, she did admit to sending him sexually explicit photos and videos. The complaint details that Jensen resisted arrest, refusing to stand and forcing a detective to lift her from a couch before being taken into custody.

Jensen’s charges include Possession of Child Pornography, multiple counts of Child Enticement, Exposing Intimate Parts to a Child, and 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. A conviction on all counts could result in a prison sentence spanning decades.

A Fond du Lac County Court judge set a $200,000 cash bond for Jensen last Friday. During a subsequent court appearance, the court imposed a no-contact order, barring her from interacting with the victim or any other minors, and prohibited her from using social media.

In response to the charges, Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, where Jensen was employed, announced it has terminated her position. The school issued a public statement emphasizing its commitment to student safety and expressing prayers for all affected by the situation.
