Parents of 9 Kidnapped Children Seek Bauchi Governor’s Help
The parents of nine kidnapped children in Miya village, Ganjuwa LGA, Bauchi State, have pleaded with Governor Bala Mohammed and his wife, Aisha Bala Mohammed, to intervene in securing their children’s release.
Speaking at the NUJ Press Centre in Bauchi on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the parents, led by community leader Musa Kwana, expressed fears that without government intervention, they may never see their children again.
The abducted children are Sangi Turaki, Cikawa Turaki, Danjuma Turaki, Yangawa Dogo Talangu, Bebi Bawa, Jumolo Dangaladima, Kangaya Kori, Jummai Adamu, and Alti Shehu.
“Now that we have tried everything humanly possible for several years since the incident happened in 2014 and could not get a positive result, we want the governor and his wife to step in and wipe our tears. We want to see our children,” he said.
